"The easiest way to determine if a restaurant is an authentic Mexican restaurant is very easy. If there are mashed potatoes (and seeds, lol) in your Chile Rellenos, it's not authentic. If your Molcajete does not have cactus and pineapple in the dish, it's not authentic. If your burritos have rice in them it's not authentic. This is just high priced Taco Bell.No respectable Mexican puts rice in a burrito, ever. Chipotle does, but again, McDonalds owns Chipotle.The beef tongue in the BURRITO JAROCHO is just beef. Not tongue. Just regular beef. Same exact beef as in the BURRITOS VERDES which are $9.75 compared to $14.95 for the tongue. (I got both to verify). Yep. True. I felt stupid. But, not my issue. A lot of places do this exact thing.The Mexican Restaurant in Mineral is a lot better, and 1/2 the price of this place.Growing up in Arizona and California, being able to actually drive into Mexico to get real Mexican food, you can even find better Mexican food from street vendors.I think white people must run this place. It's not Mexican. It's White Boy Mexican at best, and overpriced for even that.The salsa Looks and tastes like it came from a jar with a little sprig of cilantro on top. Nice try. A few fresh onions in there, stuck together. Just horrible on the prep side, and delivery. No flavor at all, just tastes like tomato paste with cilantro on top.Very bland, and very overpriced. Nothing about this place separates it from Taco Bell, except the price. $20.00 for Molcajete which at this place, is just Fajitas? In a bowl........ just everything wrong. Drive down the road a bit. There is real, authentic Mexican food in Mineral."

"I will start by saying that the food at Itavie New York Grill Bakery is actually really good overall, most of the time. However, while some dishes really hit the mark, others are just okay. If I were to rate this restaurant solely on food they would get 4 stars. Rated solely on their desserts they would get 5 stars. However, an arguably integral part of the restaurant experience is the service and this is where Itavie recently fell short for us.We arrived to find a dining room with only about a fourth of the tables occupied. We were told it would be about a 25 minute wait which is not unreasonable if they are short staffed. We ended up waiting 80 minutes before being seated. The excuse we were gven by the person who was seating everyone was that the kitchen had told him not to seat anyone because they were backed up. To reiterate, only a fourth of the dining room was occupied when we arrived.I completely admit that I do not understand all of the intricacies of running a restaurant but what we observed as we waited left us confused. The restaurant seemed to only have two servers for the entire dining room but they had four other people working the counter. Despite being told that the kitchen was backed up, the people at the counter continued to take and fulfill phone and walk-in take out orders in front of customers who had been waiting an hour to be seated at tables that were empty and waiting for them. The people at the counter continued to tell everyone that came in that it was a 20-35 minute wait, making those of us who had been there for an hour wonder if anyone actually knew what was going on. Occasionally, we were treated to an odd show where the greeter would storm into the kitchen to see if he could seat us only to return with what turned out to be an unrealistic it will be another 5 minutes We watched so many take out orders leave that they could have sat everyone that was waiting and fed them twice over, at one point the greeter even told us we'd be more than welcome to order take out. Perhaps they are still stuck in pandemic protocols?When we finally sat, we watched several take out orders come and go before we even got our first course. The server did not regularly check on us and my water glass sat empty for half the meal. One of the items we asked for, never even made it out to us. When we reminded our server 15 minutes later, she indicated that she didn't have a chance to put the order in. She hadn't been on the floor for most of that time, I was looking. Overall, her demeanor could have been better.While my understanding of the restaurant business is limited, I have always been under the impression that the patrons that come in to the restaurant and sit at the table are typically a better revenue stream and should be valued. The food is good but we live far enough that the time it would take to get it home would likely take it down a notch. Being a dine in patron is our best option. The food is enough to lure us back but I did not feel like a valued patron on my last visit to Itavie and I truly hope this will not be the case the next time I visit."

"Mediocre food, meh.Generous with the fresh berries, good service. Bland food, low quality, but not bad.I ordered pork loin with breakfast, my partner ordered it on a sandwich, they brought chops. I pointed it out to the waitress and she straight up denied it and said it was a loin. It was tough and flavorless."

"Okay, so I tried this place for the first time today and wanted him to be close. my first impression when I entered was not as great as it is part of camp area and part-day care and looks a bit down, but was still ready to try. I ordered the sushi lunch special 3 roll combo (shrimp tempura roll, tuna roll and california roll) and from the lunch special I ordered the kung pao huhn. my first reaction was hey, large portion size, very generous, large suppening, and very decent looking sushi, well designed, fresh looking, and that's what transpired: the sushi was good, surprisingly so, I like the kind it was made and the presentation was great. it was good. the miso suppe was cold so I didn't eat it because of health. besides the hot and acidic suppe that came with the combo to eat hot enough, and was good. eirolle was so to expect, typical, cauliflower in the inner and through the time they get it home, it is crisp as if it ever had. but the real disappointment was that the tiny pieces of dark meat were broken in what looked like a great dish were so heavily debrided that the pieces were scourged as in marchmallows. I pulled some of the pieces apart to try to identify the size of the chicken inside, and it was 70% broken. in all my travels, I have never come over the shattered kung pao huhn. as it was mini pieces of general taos or so. it's never broken. what a devil. it was infallible, and I got only sweet and acidic chicken from China wok, which was 80% tempura battery, so this was added only insulting to injuries. not sure if it is worth going back for sushi, but I would not order from the Chinese part of the menu again. I threw everything away, but about five kisses I had fetched out, and 3 or 4 bites of rice and the rest went into the mull."
