"The food was great. They sat us pretty fast. It took about 20 minutes to just get water for the table. It looks like they're among servants. We were 6 and another table was a pretty big table. Only one server for both tables. Poor guy ran around as well as possible. The restaurant looks a little older. I'd go back and give them a second chance."

"No pictures but i ordered the pastrami sandwich. It was pretty good, above average, would recommend. Drive thru line was a pretty bad but i think that's because of its proximity to the drive way."

"I ate this morning. Somehow I landed behind the Pomona Racetrack and saw this diner. El Merendero! I'm hungry. Are you down? I'm down! The food was delicious and the service was the best. Sometimes, if you least expect it, you will find a diamond. Today I was there. I definitely go back. I loved this place. El Merendero! Try it, you will also love it."

"Found this spot on door dash and thought I'd give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the food here was as delicious as it looked online. Their aguas are so refreshing, and not too sweet. I was especially surprised, considering how low the cost is. The saying goes you get what you pay for, but here are you definitely get the bang for your buck. I've never been disappointed by anything I've tried and would recommend them to anyone."
