We all felt the same way. They charge for soft drink refills. Just be aware. Most places don't, but they are $2.50 per refill here. Terrible Service: It took well over an hour to get our food. Friendly staff, delicious food, reasonably priced. Probably the best dining you'll find in and around Helena. I would definitely recommend the Highlander if your looking for a good meal!

A hidden treasure out on the East side of Canyon Ferry, the Highlander Bar Grill never fails to excel! Superb food and service are the standard. The steaks are exceptional. Just had the scallops and shrimp. Served in a bowl with garlic mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables, it was the best I've ever had. The sauce was amazing and it was so huge I had another complete meal the next day for lunch! Looking forward to next Wednesday's dinner with wine pairing!

We love this place for dinners and at our last dinner they mentioned their brunch. Their Caesar's are very good and when they said loaded Caesar's at their brunch with shrimp and bacon we decided to try it. Sadly there wasn't shrimp with ours, still charged for it The breakfast took over an hour and then wasn't hot and we were out of time to send it back. They did have a very large function the night before that sounded like it went very late. We will go back for dinners but not for Sunday brunch.
