"I called for a reservation on Father’s Day and was accommodated with a slight change in desired eating time. No problem. I usually don’t eat out on special occasions because the food is never good and service is rushed. This wasn’t the case with our meal. Our server Edgar was extremely thoughtful and funny. He anticipated anything we could possibly want and although efficient, he wasn’t rushed. The food was delicious. We started with a cocktail, the calamari and the beef carpaccio. Very nice. This is our go to spot in San Rafael. The food is always delicious and the servers are pleasant and knowledgeable. The coconut lemon tart for desert is obnoxiously delicious ?.

Well prepared, tasty dishes in a comfortable environment. I had the short rib gnocchi, and others in our party had the mushroom ravioli and filet. All seemed happy with their choices. The pace was perfect, we were offered our choice of table, and the dining room was quiet enough to enjoy conversation. We were able to find on street parking easily, and despite being an older building, there was a ramp inside for accessibility.
