"Too bad our last night at Jackie's was a disappointment. We knew it was fried chicken night which has great food!, but we didn't realize that you can't even order extra sides. This meant that we had to order a chicken dinner for our vegetarian friend, and she couldn't even eat the kale because it had bacon! Then, to make it worse, they wouldn't even give us an extra biscuit or more potato salad. Very disappointing. It felt like they were being very stingy. We've been going to Jackie's for more than years to celebrate birthdays, etc in the neighborhood. We were sad it was leaving, but now we feel like we're ready to move on. Jackie's will be missed glad I had the chance to enjoy it one last time. Food and drinks were fantastic but service was slow and not very attentive even though many tables were empty. Looking forward to the new restaurant opening

My latest meal at Jackie's underscored why I will miss it when it closes it's Silver Spring location. The Truffle Cheese Fries were the devil's temptation. The sea bass was perfect. Think I have to get back one more time before the end of the month
