"During our first evening in Oslo, a very helpful desk person at the Bristol Hotel recommended Jaipur for dinner. Plus, we love Indian cuisine. There were other closer restaurants in this Theater District part of Oslo, but she was fairly dismissive of some of what we asked about. Yet, we got good directions down Karl Johan Gate and after a short walk and ascent to the 2nd Floor, we arrived a Jaipur. We were seated and waited on promptly. Looking around the room, we were probably in the minority as far as tourists go. That was great as the locals/ethnic buzz in the room added well to our experience. Got food from here on account of Too Good To Go, this spot always has extra food that they box up to try not contributing to food waste. I came with a friend who said we could just walk here without needing to get it on the app, so we did. Spicy chicken curry with rice, so much food for only 64 NOK (which is very cheap for Oslo and Norway in general). Food was tasty. They also have a vegetarian option which I'd probably go for next time.

I 'm very careful about doing one star reviews, especially in a foreign country and on vacation. But you guys are terrible for making my mom upset! We came to this restaurant because it advertised online an all-you-can-eat option. AYCE Indian food, heck yeah! We were extremely excited for that! The food looked great and the options were the classics we love! You guys were extremely busy, so we were understanding about not being greeted and having multiple staff walk by us at the please wait sign. What makes me want to tell everyone to avoid you was the attitude you guys had to my mother and I. We were offered the booth by the window.
