"Service was great! We have eaten here 2 times and very happy with everything!! We have had the pork chop, scallops, calamari, crab cakes (best crab cakes ever with lots of crab meat and very little filler! Halibut dinner and the special last night was a 12 oz Boneless ribeye and I added grilled asparagus and sauted mushrooms for my sides, excellent!! Presentation is always beautiful! Well worth the prices!! Dessert was the Hula Pie..delicious!"

Food has been better in the past. My fish was dry and overcooked. This is one of our favorite restaurants.

Service is always fantastic but the food was just okay. I understand food costs are higher, due to challenges with transporting fresh food up to Tahoe, every dish we ate (or saw) did not leave me feeling like it was worth the price. Hopefully the restaurant turns it around as this was always a family favorite every time we visit Tahoe (since the 80s).

We went to Jake's for a birthday dinner. I had the macadamia nut crusted halibut and was cooked perfectly, I asked for more of the sauce that complimented the fish. My wife ordered the palm salad and added mahi but the mahi was a little overcooked. We sat out on the balcony which is a little tired and needs sanding and staining. The service was very good, the music was at a nice level. Overall a nice evening.

"delicious eating in an intimate dining room. started with a delicious pear “elevation” martini coupled with ahi thunfisch cone (wasabi cream in the tip.) yum. up with gyoza starter with a ginger sauce. my main thing was a Thai seafood stew in a kokosmilch. mild spicy and delicious. dessert was a chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream and meringue. very attentive and friendly service. come to the sunset for mountain view!"

"My first time in lake Tahoe and Christy hill was my pick for my one-year anniversary with my girlfriend and we were not disappointed at all! We unfortunately were running late and were still seated in the best seat to view the sunset of Lake Tahoe. We started with a goddess salad and chicken liver moose which came out fast and fresh with a lovely glass of rose for both of us with a hibachi fish with some thin crisps and a delicious pork belly with a cooked watermelon on the bottom which was interesting. Finally, our server was nice enough to provide us with a chocolate bread pudding with whipped cream and a candle for us. 5/5 experience and a great way to end the weekend trip. I highly recommend this place as they have a great menu for any occasion."

"EAT HERE! You won't regret it! Amazing service, very friendly and accommodating at our party of 15. Very fast and was superior enough to provide us with additional baskets without request. They have often checked for us to make sure that the food is okay and pitchers were full, and very nice to us in general. When a mistake was made to put the cheese on a salad, they immediately apologized and offered to remake it what we rejected. Very nice people. The food is very different. Everything we ordered was very delicious. I ordered the Swiss chicken sandwich, which had baked chicken, avocado, bacon, honey mustard and naturally Swiss cheese. Everything came on the side (Honey mustard, salad, tomatoes, onion and pimples), so you can choose and choose what you want on your sandwich, what I could add was a very considerable portion. I paid to add a page of waffles and they were different from all I ever had. Everyone and everyone was perfectly crispy on the outside with exactly the right amount of moisture on the inside, and with honey mustard on the side of the burger I had to my frits in excess (they were very generous with the amount of sauces). From what I heard from the other courts, you could say the same to everyone. The atmosphere in general was amazing, very nice inside with a cozy wooden cabin aesthetic with thick ceiling wood tables I very popular. The only complaint is the place where I can't live because I would eat regularly here!"

"I thought I had published an evaluation for this place, but I don't think haha. Anyway, I'm from the back to the east and a predominantly Italian city. I had no decent pizza outside of Pittsburgh. I lived in Virginia and Nevada, and every time we went somewhere, I felt like it was a waste of carbs. If I pamper pizza, it's better. This place is def worth all Carbs. Delicious pizza like what I used to go home. We had a picky 3 years old with us and a baby, so we just got a classic pepperoni pizza, but their menu is super imaginative and sounds delicious. Don't understand the low star reviews. If there were on the basis of food I would give 10 stars, but we also had super friendly people who served us there. Anyone who sounds like that? m everything about the support over large chains and this little jewel makes pizza better than any other places I have done in this way."

"I had a half grilled vegetable sandwich on focaccia bread and half Chinese chicken salad combo and it was OK. I thought the sandwich would be hot, but it was cold and didn't really have much flavor. The salad lacked some flavor as well, somewhat bland. They did have nice outdoor seating and I had a delicious pumpkin cookie. I'll give them another try and get something else."
