"TL; DR: This place definitely holds the standards of a Texas Road House. In any case, watch by if you want delicious food, good times and fantastic service. Full review: I was in the mood for some BBQ and was ready to give Dickies an attempt, regardless of his reviews. When I arrived, the service desk (which has been facing the restaurant since its interior) was told me that it had been closed for the last 2 weeks and new management has been completed. So go to a name that I know as a child and had many excellent experiences to have a better night. I come and go straight to the bar where Elanna works alone. Regardless, she is still in good spirit and ready to go beyond and beyond, for whom she serves while doing her best to manage the bar and surrounding tables. An important fact would be how they offered to do 1⁄2 sugar and 1⁄2 salt on the rim, because I was still not sure what kind of coating to do for a mango margarita. It turned out perfectly, just like the rest of the food. The fried pickles and half a rack with a side salad and loaded sweet potato. The bread and the butter were warm, the pimples were crispy and the tasteful meat fell directly from the ribs. All this is the point and reaffirmed my decision to come tonight to be the best. After a long day, was definitely great coming here for food, because it helped pack the day. In any case, come by and see this local place for yourself."

"I moved from Essex to Shelburne a few years ago. When I'm in Essex, I'll make a point to take an insulated bag so I can bring Hoagies' pizza home. I like bacon and pineapple. The rest of my family likes super hot peppers. The pizza is consistently excellent and worth an hour trip for me."

"First time at the tavern tonight for a birthday. We had a great meal, and our waitress was excellent and patient. They have a lot of gluten free options, and separate fryers (so be sure to let them know if you have a gluten allergy/Celiac's) We had the sweet potato fritters (gf) and they were delicious. Crispy and light. I had the special smoked pork with the polenta cake and squash/fennel, and my mother had the steak and shrimp entree. She said her steak was cooked perfectly. Definitely will go back again."

"We stumbled upon the Black Flannel Brewing Restaurant after going to see a movie. Many people were sitting outside, so we decided to dine there. Hubby got a smash burger and wished he'd doubled up on the burger. He was quite pleased with it and super happy he'd chosen to add bacon as it was really great tasting. He also got a non alcoholic drink which was yummy and only $5. I chose the confit duck legs with waffles and bacon maple syrup. So good. I'd have chosen the syrup on the side next time as it was drenched. But oh so good!!! Highly recommend. Had half for dinner and finished it the next day. Every bite was mmmmm. We bought two donuts to take home. Packaged beautifully, but they were not good. We got a passionfruit one that the taste was wonderful and it came with a real flower on it so pretty. But eating it was not great. It was so heavy it wasn't worth it. The frosting was yummy, but I can't recommend this. The 4 stars is because of the donuts. Our server, Aubrie, was wonderful. So helpful and sincere and cool. She didn't hover but was there when we needed her."

"First, I want to mention that I rarely write reviews, but this place is certainly deserving of one! We were driving from New Hampshire and really hungry. I was looking for places near our Airbnb and found this place on a whim. I ordered online and we picked up the food and ate it outside. Everything about the poke bowl was amazing. The Firecracker sauce was delicious and spicy and the ahi tuna was perfect. Maybe one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten and certainly the best meal I ate on our week-long trip to New England! Sadly, we don’t live in the area."
