Kahunas (enlisted Club)

If I could give them a lower rating I would. Walked into a slow and almost empty establishment in the evening and waited for minutes to have a server greet us. We then tried finding a server at the bar where we were intentionally avoided and bar tenders were almost no help. Lousy workers and no sense of urgency in any of the staff along with a thick must.

We go here for the trivia night and my husband goes on other nights to get the drink speacials. The onion rings are really good and the honey bbq wings remind me of Applebees they're really good. Hamburgers were okay, didn't like the fried pickles. They have sweet tea I make it and sell on base too but it's nice to have when I go out to eat. We go here once a week or once every two weeks. Only for e5 and below though

Kahuna's Sports Bar and Grill is located on Marine Corps Base hawaii. It's the enlisted bar and restaurant and was much nicer than expected. I opted for the most expensive item, which was the steak and shrimp. It's offered with choice of rice or mashed potatoes, but I chose french fries, and they were crispy and extremely tasty. The garlic steak and shrimp were also super delicious. We were there for a special event, Battle of the Keys, which is a traveling Trio of two piano players and a percussionist. It was a super great time. Note that there is no ATM on site but one across the street. They accept credit cards, and it's a really family-friendly place. There's ample parking all around the...
