"We walked in and it was a very cleanly place, got seated right away, brought out waters as we got settled and then took our drink order which came out rapidly. We ordered appetizers which consisted of fried green tomatoes and spinach artichoke dip, which were so good! Then the waitress took a while to get our meals ordered, when she finally did our appetizers were gone. I had the BBQ burger and sweet potato fries which was very tasty, and my friends had a Cobb salad and brisket bbq grilled cheese and everyone enjoyed the food, however as it got busier the waitress was lacking. Over all we enjoyed the clean and friendly atmosphere, the fantastic food and good company! Would come again!"

"We're relatively new to KC, so we're not BBQ experts in any way, but... this place blows away some of the bigger names in the KC area. We ordered the fried pickles and corn nuggets as an appetizer...both are good. For our entrees we ordered the burned end plate, Brisket Nachos and the Brisket Sandwich. It was all EXCELLENT!!! We'll be back."

"Perhaps if we had not come on a Friday we could have had better service. It starts with them no taking reservations. There were 7 of us, getting there around 6ish. We were told the wait was 40min. It took an hour to get a table. Then to get a waitress was another 15 min. No silverware on table when salads were served. Couldn’t find a waitress to tell so had to grab someone walking by. Waitress never came back to refill drinks, check on us to see if food was good or whether we wanted dessert. The whole time we were there (90min) there was a table that could seat 10 with only a man and woman there. Guess they had special privileges? We noticed people who was there way ahead of us still sitting at their tables. You know why? They were waiting for the band to start and they were not leaving. When we walked out at 8 there were still people waiting to get seated. The food was not good. Our steaks were so tough, after two bites gave up on it. Salmon wasn’t anything special. Philly sandwich was dry. We will never be back. They need to put people wanting to watch the band in a different section then those just wanting to eat and leave. Oh almost forgot that when son in law and family were leaving in their truck they could not back out of their parking space due to cars parked against the side of the building. Went in to ask if they could announce a car to move when the band had a song break…they said absolutely not! Wow. Really? So, they had to call the police who ran the license plates and contacted them. This whole fiasco took over an hour just to get out of their parking space. The bar/restaurant owner is not customer accommodating. No more business from me and our family."

"Honestly I was very excited to go here because it seems like they had a lot of authentic food here.However they were either short staffed or something. We were given water not attended to for another 30 minutes asked for drinks and ordered food.After an hour of waiting we finally received our food which was COLD.They did make it right take off the cold food. But i left hungry w/ belly full if mimosa because I couldn't eat the cold steak chilaquiles I ordered.I would want to give it another try because i do think they have good food from what I've heard. Just an underwhelming 1st experience. . Maybe ask for the female server instead next time."

"The food was absolutely awful, bland, dry and over cooked. I got the combination fried rice and my grandmother got vegetable lo mein. Honestly even the crab rangoons were really bad too. The only edible thing was the egg drop soup. As for the restaurant itself it was cleaned and well organized but the food is just not good. It is a small town so you cant expect much."
