This has been one of my favorite go-to Japanese restaurants in Winston. The food is always great, the staff are always attentive, and the place feels clean and open. I am a sushi lover, so I a usually get sushi when I go. Today I got the volcano roll and the Juliet roll off the special roll menu. As always, it was delicious and great quality! Tucked away off the main road at the entrance to a shopping center, it does not seem to inviting until you walk in. A very warm environment with Japanese artwork and artifacts make you feel welcome. There is a sushi bar and amble table and booth seating. There are also a few tables set outside if the weather cooperates. Staff is friendly and quick to serve you. It's been years since I've been to this Kimono restaurant, but I was happy to come back because it was always great in the past. This time, we came for a birthday lunch and the table included around 10 people. The inside is less cozy than some smaller places, but it's clean and laid out pretty well. No issues there.
