"The problem in Mannheim is a lack of any kind of good cafes and restaurants. By international standards Kleines Cafe would have a 3/5 score, but I gave it a 4/5 compared to the rest of Mannheim. It is charming with a chic, yet neighborhood feel.Staff: Hit and miss. If you're lucky you get really great and friendly service. I have been lucky very often, but I am also chatty. But sometimes it is unimpressive and was once even incredibly rude (in July 2017)Cakes: A nice selection. The poppy seed/pear cake is very nice. Carrot cake is a HUGE disappointment. Teas: Great selection of loose leaf teas. Pots are too small. Fancy presentation for what is essentially a small cup of tea. And therefore...

I love this place because it is cozy and comfortable in the beautiful teasing city east. there is only a vegan breakfast.

small caffe is a small, pretty neighbourhood café. they serve a vegan breakfast, which is beautiful, but not very kreatiw and a bit pricier than the non-vegan counterparts.

I like the caf in itself because they sit comfortably in it, but every time I wonder what they get for the price: for example with an expensive summer limo or the vegan breakfast. the wre per se ok, but for the price (approximately 13 they get surprisingly little dafr, incl. 2 slices brot. that they will certainly reorder, but if it is hard and dry anyway, we would rather be. unfortunately it was nice at the 2nd try there, so I can't recommend it for a cold. coffee

"After a very long time we had to go to Sushi again. We still knew Kaoru, but in the old premises in Q, hidden behind a passage. For a few years the restaurant has been sitting on Goethestraße and has increased. Saturday afternoon, still reserved online. The form asks where to sit. Selected Sushibar. At last, we are here. Be welcomed and I mention the reservation. She points to the bar, but at the same time says that we can sit where we want. There was enough space everywhere. Probably she was watching our asking looks when we saw the sushibar. After all, we still had the bar with waterway in front of us....This was always the attraction of the Kaoru that the ships were on one way over and could be operated. There was also a bit of overash effect. We had experienced it before. All right, so we sat at the bar. With the back to the street and in front of us the chefs prepared eager sushi. The ingredients are behind curved glass. The cooks served, depending on what they needed. Something interesting. We got the menus. Sushi in several variants are available. Dessert. Beer. We took all warm Sake and Asahi beer. I tried the Rainbow Roll, 8 reels with tuna, salmon, cancer, white fish. The Maki Set and the Beginner Set were ordered. Price between 10 and 18.50 Euro. When ordering, I asked if there is no more waterway. Unfortunately no, she said, and regretted it very much. After the reasons, we didn't ask them. The drinks came to the place. The Sake was very warm. The sushi came very soon after, at the same time for everyone. It looked appetizing and actually like the picture on the map. It tasted good too, all right. The payment was then somewhat lengthy, because none of the services were to be seen or it appeared only briefly between the tables. It's been a little. A family came in when we left. The first question of the great son to serve: have you changed? He also missed the waterway...."
