"I recently tried Knife and Fork Inn for the first time while visiting AC for a week. This was on my list of places to try and I am so glad I stopped in on a Wednesday evening for dinner! I was able to quickly be sat for a table for one. The server was friendly, bus person always had my water glass filled, and overall I loved my experience. I could feel the history of the building which was great! I chatted with the server about some menu options and she recommended the Knife and Fork Inn dinner, which included 3 courses, an excellent and tasty crab chowder, a fresh tomato and mozzarella salad (I actually typically dislike tomato but was able to surprisingly enjoy the dish), and then filet M...

wowza! what a wonderful chic place. elegant and decadent. the service was so hospitable. the decor was soothing and relaxing. the vibes were just so good. friends, and couples just have a good time. the food was extraordinary! we eat in many chic restaurants in the north, but both the steak and the fish were incredible here! and better than I had put on others. perfect texture. perfect taste. If I'm ever back in ac, I'm gonna move back here. keep the great food and service!

Established in 1912, originally as a private club, The Knife Fork Inn is part of Atlantic City history. Anthony Bourdain's New Jersey episode brought me here. The upstairs dinning room was lush! I have added no photos of it here; you'll have to experience it for yourself! The food was superb (the Kobe sliders were grand, as was the pork chop). I didn't order dessert as I was full after the dinner and the many beers I had. It was an experience being here and the service was excellent, attentive and charming.

I've only been here once with family friends during happy hour so we only ordered from the happy hour menu. Calamari was ok. I've had some excellent calamari that melts in my mouth but this was very crunchy and hard. Lobster spring rolls were good, would order again. THE DUCK LEG was to die for!!! Honestly one of my favorite dishes at a restaurant now. Crispy skin, juicy meat, spinach balances the heaviness of the duck. Everything about it was absolutely perfect. The service was decent. One of the ladies behind the bar kind of ignored us and was cold to us when we asked her a question about a dish.
