"We just drove by and found this restaurant hotel on the local map. The staff was very friendly and we felt very welcome. The traditional German beer tasted very well and the carving was even better! The ice cream was also delicious. The owner told us that many people come to walk or bicycle in the neighborhood. Also the house made meat you can buy in the small shop is very good! We'll be back."

In this wonderful restaurant where our friends live in Runkel, we have been dense several times. We got here last on 17th. September dined and it was a treat, very friendly and food is always excellent. I would recommend you to try Schaaf for German cuisine, professional service and cheap prices.

this is a local restaurant near where we live. For so many years we have enjoyed it and when friends visit us, this is our standard to go with them. But it is definitely not the same every time. You can have bad experiences though it is very rare, but it can happen. But usually nothing is wrong here. And if it's good, it's far beyond everything else.
