"Really enjoyed our meal here, service was great, the owner was really busting her butt to make sure everyone in the restaurant was taken care of, filling up wine and beer glasses as she ran to and from the kitchen. Despite the notable shortness in staff I didn't feel as though we were at all neglected. The food was amazing!!!! A bit on the pricier side but the portions are huge and the quality was top-notch so well worth a nice evening out. Had the deer with cranberry sauce and spaetzel, everything fresh made. Will absolutely be going back during our next visit to Lahr. Thanks very much for the wonderful meal."

"the foods were delivered almost 20 min earlier than indicated. unfortunately, the meat was partially decoated and was almost tasteless. late zle with fry soße ordered and the soße unfortunately had to be searched on the late zle. the rest was good"

"Hallo Leute,wir sind Wiederholungstäter, und waren schon öfter hier- und immer zufrieden.Auch gestern Abend Donnerstag den 18.05.17 zu Zweit. Es war nicht viel los, weshalb ein Teil des Lockals geschlossen wurde. Wir saßen draußen an einem Bistro Tisch.Die Bedienungen waren flott und sehr freundlich. Der Salat und die Getränke waren prakisch sofort da. Und das Entrecote und das XXL Schnitzel ging auch sehr flott. Da warteten die Kunden am Autoschalter deutlich länger!!Das Essen mundete sehr gut, es gab keinerlei Beanstandungen,- nur 3,80€ für ein 0,4 Apfelschorle verhagelte die 5 Sterne. Schade!!"

"The meal we had was lovely. Salad crisp, plump, and interesting. Main courses well prepared. I took away one star because the service was not to our liking. We asked for a wine menu and were told there was none - did I want red or white wine. Really? I chose beer, and I was given a choice of Pils or Lager. I would have liked to have had some actual choices; the waiter was zero help. The server, at that time, was not too busy to take time. The pleasant atmosphere saved the day, and the print of the men on the dock reading from the paper was adorable."
