"After visiting a wedding in the area, we stopped on the way out of town for breakfast and everything was very delicious. I got the chicken biscuit and asked for white gravy on the side and made my own cookies and gravy with chicken; it was lovely. My fiancée got the breakfast bowl and it was so big that he couldn't finish it. I tasted the potatoes he had, and they were perfectly seasoned and so delicious."

"Do not let it slide, visit ya Gotta Dockside!. This scenic, non-small joint at Colonial Beach is definitely a must for anyone interested in the local seafood tariff and entertainment ambience as well as a great view of the water. This is a little chesapeake and a little South Beach! Although we went exactly as they recently opened their Tiki hats in the late afternoon, outdoor bar, entertainment area and bandage make you feel more like in the Caribbean than in Virginia! No matter, even without entertainment, we had a great meal. My wife enjoyed her Fried Scallop plate, the best she had in a while – and she is picky about her scallops! I had her hangover burger, and I have to say, although I had no cat, it was the best I had everywhere! Although the service is pretty much covered and what you would find and expect from such a joint, in such a place, it was overall pleasant. They give you the opportunity to sit under parasols on the unreal beach or beautifully on picnic tables under the covered and much cooler deck. Prices were good, although the quality of their services was superior prices elsewhere. The bartender was even very candied in their preference, no beautifully exhibited American Harvest Vodka bottle (see my picture), the Fried Calamari appetizer was perfectly cooked and very, very tasty and fresh, the 2 Coronas I had more than Ice Cold, and we give both the Fried Scallops and Hangover Burger 4 stars in presentation, freshness and taste. We often visit Colonial Beach and I'm sure we're back to Dockside! You should really try."

"Had a dozen steamed crabs and 1/2 pounds of shrimp, both were delicious. The landscape is beautiful and they have the most friendly waiting staff I have seen everywhere, they are so attentive that they come to the table several times to see if we needed something and ask about the food. Will definitely go back and the next time some of us will be. Yesterday I was just my husband and it was worth the journey from Richmond. Each restaurant has to teach the waiting team at Wilkersons is really a pleasure to eat here!!! And the food is also good!!!!"

"My food was very good, what I had. A human object was in the veggies so my dish went back. Server told me to keep my fork but it touched the object. Server upset by now. "Hancho's Hibachi Box took over what once was the soft serve serving Polar Den. Their menu offers various appetizers (gyozas, egg rolls, fried pickles, etc. , their hibachi protein options (veggie, chicken, steak, shrimp, salmon, or scallops , sushi (maki rolls , and various sides (fried rice, salads, yum yum sauce, etc. . We decided to order a couple of hibachis to go: +a choice of 2 of steak and shrimp +a choice of 2 of double steak You can choose between white or fried rice, which we opted for the latter; the boxes come with yum yum sauce, too. The hibachi is made to order, so you do receive them fresh the meal was simple, tasty, and a great bargain with the portions you receive, too! I am curious about their fried appetizers, such as the pickles, bananas, and the Oreos, so maybe on the next visit! There isn't a drive thru, so you just park and walk up to place an order at the window. Some place their orders in advance over the phone. There are some patio seating available, and plenty of parking in their lot.
