"The place was packed (and I understand it usually is), but we managed to snatch a spot inside. Inside is not very inviting though, but pretty crammed and loud. We had the wontons in chili oil, wo weren't very spicy though. We also tried the...beef on rice, which was very juicy and tender, but the veggies on the side were very bland. The dim sum we tried were all very good. The Xia Jiao (shrimp dumplings) were very juicy, the Shao Mai (filled with chicken) was very flavourful and the Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings) were simply amazing, so juicy and full of flavour. We enjoyed the food, not so much the atmosphere."

I was really surprised. You could think this nude soup is pretty flat. Should be more salty. You should focus on another side. The nuddle originally and soup quality. That's all. And handmade dumplings. Very nice

As a Taiwanese, I've been to Lon Men every time when in Berlin, purely just for a few nostalgic moments of craving for Taiwanese food. The owner is Taiwanese and they try their best to use local ingredients to serve you dishes as close as...Taiwanese tastes can get to! I've never left there unsatisfied. Yes, as some other diners may say it looks chaotic and busy but that's the Taiwanese busy noodle-house-style dining. I'd say we shall embrace that and enjoy the food.

From a city with many Asian restaurants I had a desire for dim sum and I was looking for the Internet for a restaurant with good reviews. Lon Men's was close to where I stayed so why not give it a try - there was line-up outside, a good sign for a restaurant, so we waited 20 minutes before we sit inside. Pretty the lift inside, everyone enjoys their meal and the owner is such a character. I order the dimming sum, xiao long bao and what seemed a Taiwan-style pork carving with fried rice. The food was delicious and cheap.
