"This may be one of my favorite restaurants in NYC. I made a reservation for 11 people for my birthday on 1/29. Everything was beyond perfect and better than I imagined. The staff were super friendly and greeted us upon arrival and gave us the option to wait until the whole party arrived at the bar or for us to sit. We decided sit and hey also let us move all of our coats to another chair so we would have more room in our seating area. We didn’t get appetizers but ordered wine and cocktails everything was so good. I ordered the Giardino and the Ferragosto. Wonderful experience. The food is excellent. Delicious in fact. All servers were not only friendly They were extremely helpful in the selection of my dishes. The ambiance could not be better. The restaurant itself is gorgeous from the architectural details to the artwork and decorations.The music is upbeat and contemporary. A truly satisfying dining experience.

classic Italian restaurant with small but tasteful furnishings. great for a date or a celebration, but maybe a bit high end for a family Italian dinner. eating is delicious and the staff is incredibly attentive. only complained was the “special” tomatensalat – from fresh tomato, olive oil and seasoning – price on $24. delicious! but $24 is literally a cubed tomato.

tonight I brought my niece to a late dinner in the loreto Italian kitchen and bar. this is the first really excellent meal I had in nyc in several years. we ordered the porch special, which was a very big and very juicy piece pork. it is so wonderful to find a cook that can cook pork and it was obviously a very good meat variety. it was served on creamy polnta, which was simply wonderful. the cocktails are delicious, a bit on the sweet side, but serious mixology. the service was excellent, the decor is modern fun, the only problem is the place a little loud.
