"My first visit, definitely will not be my last! We moved to Elmira from Syracuse about 2 years ago and this was our first visit to Louies. This was the best dining experience I've had in 10 years. Louies has a great ambience, but that is just the tip of the iceberg. Barbara was our server and she was on point, it appeared all the staff was too. Drinks always full, she was very attentive but not overbearing. The food... OMG the food. The bread was phenomenal (I'm very picky about my bread), I am also funny when it comes to fountain soda, the mixes are always different. There's was perfect. The salad was good, but it's salad... I'm not going to get too excited for salad. We both got the butch...

excellent pizza! the crust was perfect, the sauce was great, and the basilikum on the margarita pizza smell and tasted really good.

The food here was the best Italian food I've had in a long time. I had the tour of Italy and if you can get down to Hanover Square it is well worth your time. They brought fresh bread to the table. The Calimari appetizer was fantastic. I also tasted some of the Phillie cheese steak sub and it melted in my mouth to perfection. The Horseradish sauce was tantalizing.
