"Went to visit my granny this weekend. This was my first time in San Antonio, Texas. I heard Ma Harper’s had great food so I had to stop by. I got the fried fish and shrimp with red beans and rice and gumbo with cornbread. Everything was amazing, especially the gumbo. My granny is 95 and I found out her and Ms Harper are friends. I can’t wait to come back and visit. I’ll def make sure I order a gumbo to go!!!!!"

Me and my wife had lunch here today and from the moment we stepped in, we were greeted and quickly sat down. The staff was very polite and the service was prompted. This was the first time we tried Ma Harper's and from how delicious the food was, we definitely will be going back. I had the gumbo and my wife had the porkchop w/red beans and rice. And dessert was fresh out the oven peach cobbler. Yummy
