"Food was average, price is steep. There are other places to go for subs, pizza, or sandwiches that are cheaper and better quality locally. I do go here once a year or so merely because it is locally owned and operated."

"Honestly expected more after hearing how amazing the place was. Remember having good experiences years ago, but recently the service has been incredibly slow (friendly, but waiting for 35 or 40 minutes for a pizza?? . The pizza is ok...tasty, but for $20+ per pie, I expected something better than I can buy in a freezer section and cook at home. The drinks were cold, staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was laid back."

"Went in with husband and grandson for dinner tonight 9/17/21. They were not very busy. I had forgotten my phone and asked the waitress if they had a full menu because the plastic one was missing the kids menu and the burgers. She said they didn’t have one. She rattled off the kids menu and said burgers were basically build your own.I ordered a French Dip(no cheese) and fries. Husband ordered a cheeseburger with just pickles (ketchup and mustard are on the table). Grandson ordered macaroni and cheese.According to their limited menu it states that the French Dip is shaved roast beef. The sandwich I received was some type of ground meat. When I questioned the waitress about it she was extremely rude and stated “that is how our French Dip meat comes” I have ordered that same sandwich at Jasper Ridge for years and it has never been ground meat. Never!!My husband got Lettuce, tomatoes, onion and pickle with his cheeseburger. He detests onions and ate nothing that was touching the onion.Thankfully they didn’t screw up the macaroni and cheese.The waitress never returned to our table to offer drink refills or to see if we wanted or needed anything else. A different waitress noticed us sitting, waiting and asked if we were finished and offered to get our bill.When we got to the register to pay the lady at the register asked how everything was. When we said it was awful and I tried to explain about the French Dip her reaction was the same as the waitress. Stating “that is how our French Dip meat comes.” Again, defensive. At that point I said I was not going to argue with her about it but would be calling the manager."

"This is a very busy place on Saturday morning!! The waitress took time with us to explain the difference in the Swedish bread and the Finnish bread. I had the broasted pork chop breakfast special for $9. It was fabulous!! I haven't had such a juicy, tasty pork chop in a long time! I highly recommend this place!"

"Had been shopping all morning and stopped in because we just didn't want another drive through burger. Found breakfast all day! We had pancakes and an omelet. Both were very good. We also had a side of hash browns. Also very good. Not greasy not burnt. Coffee fresh. Lots of folks. Very nice experience."
