"Both salads—the house salad and the Caesar—were delicious, though they were quite standard in flavor. The prime tenderloin was cooked to perfection with a pleasing peppered and salted crust, accompanied by pickled red wine reduction onions and béarnaise sauce. The lobster risotto, while perfectly prepared, had an overpowering seafood taste, and the white wine in it wasn't reduced enough. On the other hand, the lobster mac and cheese was rich and delightful. The crème brûlée was decent, but nothing exceptional. Overall, this steakhouse is definitely worth a visit if you're in Waco!"

"My friends and I met here to share our Christmas gifts. Perfect place to enjoy our time together. We were able to shop while we were waiting for our table. The hostess was very polite. We sat and almost immediately was a waiter with menus with us. Shortly afterwards we set our orders. The place is clean, great atmosphere, home type of space, lots of clean decor to check while sitting and waiting, but of course we had a lot of entertainment between the ladies to keep us busy. In a timely matter, our drinks and our bread came to us. Shortly after, our food came. Was hot and delicious. The chicken broccoli was absolutely delicious and so delicate! My pages, green beans and beet green were cooked as I like them. The ladies I talked to were very good for their food. We enjoyed our time there."

"This is my “GO TOO” place...and they never fail. ??It may not look like much from the outside, BUT INCREDIBLE always fresh, home-made real Mexican food made with love and care. I’ve tried EVERYTHING: lunch, dinner, and dessert! I’ve sent many people here -this is some of our favorites:-FLAN is perfect. ?(they sell out fast Tres Leche on point. ?-Chips perfection/Salsa on point/Guacamole perfect.-NOPALES DIP?(difficult to find-ask for it Stuffed Poblano Peppers-filled w/goodness-thin outside done just right ALL SAUCES are JUST RIGHT-flavor is incredible.-Classic Green Chile Chicken Enchiladas, beans, rice.-ALL different crispy/soft TACOS, BURRITOS-meat and ingredients always fresh-never greasy. Home made tortillas.-SOUPS are authentic, chunky, plentiful, filled with flavor and healthy wholesomeness.-Customer service always warm, helpful, and nice.*Only downer, they DO close whenever they want (earlier)?, so make sure you call BEFORE going ALL the way over there. "UPDATE There were a few more times. Beer selection is always great. Pizza is amazing. I even tried a salad! Great place and I look forward to more visits. I have to try Slow Rise Slice House for the first time, and I have to say I'm impressed. The pizza in the slice was delicious, the funnel cakeries were great. The best part? You've tapped. Delicious food and great service at the bar. I'm going back! Thanks for the great experience."
