"I must come back and edit my review, sadly!!!! I will still say that the food, service and atmosphere are great. But the prices are ABSOLUTELY INSANE. They TOTALLY offset all the good ! We went for lunch. Fried Mushrooms, bowl of potato soup, 1/2 sandwich and cup of soup. NO drinks; just water. Our bill was $50!!!!! HOW CAN YOU JUSTIFY THAT? We seriously thought it was a mistake! It wasn 't. If you look at their menu online, they don 't post prices!!!!! I can understand why! NO ONE WOULD GO THERE!!!! So, sadly, I retract my previous recommendation. Go to Rafferty 's if you want to spend a small fortune for a meal that is basically appetizers. Previous review: How can you NOT love Rafferty 's? If you wonder why they are always busy, there 's a reason the food is excellent! The selection is excellent! The service is excellent! And unless you walk in with a very large group, even at their busiest times, the wait is usually short. I live for their fried mushrooms! But I 've yet to try anything on their menu that wasn 't great. I HIGHLY recommend Rafferty 's! One of my favorites in Bowling Green!"

"Visited the other night with family after reading multiple good reviews. Unfortunately, we didn’t have the same experience. Our server was friendly, but didn’t check in often, especially after food was delivered. My wife got the Blackened Mahi sandwich with tots which she said wasn’t great, but decent. I ordered the Southern burger which sadly was awful. I requested it medium and instead received a well done burger that was dry, lacking all seasoning and one of the worst burgers I’ve had in recent memory. I was shocked how a burger with beef, brisket, bacon and cheese could have a total lack of flavor and eat so dry. I would’ve loved to inform our server of this and requested something else but she only came by to refill water and ask about the check well after our food was served. Overall, we left disappointed in the money we spent there for a mediocre meal at best likely won’t be back."
