"We were visiting the area for work, all the team originated out of San Antonio, Texas, you can image we initially balked at the idea of eating Mexican food outside of Texas. What a surprise indeed! Everything was amazing and fresh! My Chicken Chile Relleno was wonderful and the fresh made guacamole is just what I was craving. Very excited we overcame our initial objections and intend on making this a stop when we are in the area again!"

Hands down, Maria Bonita is the best Mexican restaurant I was in. This hidden gem in highlands is worth a visit. The food is top notch and always fresh to order. The staff is also super friendly and welcoming. Try it, you will not be disappointed!

I wanted to find a good restaurant to meet my nephew, halfway between his house and mine. That was a restaurant I chose because it had good reviews. We found out why. The food was delicious and the best I had since my visit to New Mexico. I recommend the scallops!
