"This is the first restaurant we visit when we arrive in the Rio Grande Valley for the winter (November April). It 's also where we take visitors who are new to the area. The beans are delicious, as everyone knows, and we also love the giant baked potatoes , the steak, the brisket, the banana pudding, and the flan. Very relaxed atmosphere, and friendly wait persons; would recommend this place to anyone new to the Valley since everyone else knows about it."

"There chicken fried chicken is humongous! Even with it's bigger in Texas size, it was well flavored and not dry. You could easily feed 2 people form it, 3 or 4 if you're not too hungry. My only gripe is that the men's restroom only has 1 stall and it appears to not be lockable. If you want some good food and a good environment, here is a place you just might like!"

"Horrible service I went to get a burger they took so long and gave me the wrong order we called and they told us to come back so we did and they didn't even have it ready like it was just chicken and bread how incompetent and stupid they are and it took forever so we got a refund and this lady who worked there named Laisha gave us attitude and didn't even bother to apologize Horrible service Horrible everything I used to go there a lot and now it changed never going there again"
