"I have been here with different groups only 5 times... so not a lot of 'regular ' experience. The food has always been some of the best I have had in Minnesota. Amazing... perfect. I love this place for special times... but the last two times I have ran into servers that were not excited or enthused... I hope you guys can fix this. I would like to see some action and excitement. Be proud of your establishment. The previous times I have went... it was an 'experience ' instead of an order taker style. Love having an experience... which I know you can provide. Thank you again for the amazing food. Always the best!"

We absolutely adore this place. Great service (just tell them if you're looking for a more intimate experience because people are at your table often). Always get the oysters! We got the beef tartare with home made chips and it was so good. In the wintersometimes they have a lobster bisque and it's a MUST!

Once again, an amazing evening spent with one of St. Paul's best! I will never get enough of the crispy chicken thighs, the crock of potatoes and the hand made macaroons. It is my forever destination for absinthe served in the traditional way with a simply fabulous bar staff that is engaging and welcoming. Killer wine program and of course...the oysters, oh yes, the oysters! Do yourself a favor, get to St Paul and treat yourself to a night at Meritage!

Excellent atmosphere! Food is easily the best in St. Paul or Minneapolis. As a long time resident you can't find better pork chop than here in the twin cities area. The pork chop was perfectly cooked. The fat was properly done as it had a crispness toit that was almost like bacon. And the sauce it was served with had a sweetness to it that perfectly paired with with thechop. The staff is also fantastic. If youre not familiar with a more french inspired menu they know exactly what you're gonnawant. Honestly can't recommend this restaurant enough.
