"There is some good and some bad about this little cafe. The good is that I like the atmosphere, especially the outdoor area out the back, however the service was pretty slow. Sure, being the first cafe that I visited in Europe I wasn't all that used to table service (and it took me quite a while to actually get used to it, but then again I do tend to be a little impatient), but it still took a while for somebody to come and serve us, and I actually had to get up and grab somebody because I had been waiting for a while. Then again, it probably had more to do with me being impatient than anything else, especially since I was trying to pack quite a few things into my trip here."

The food was good or even very good and a lot. The cake I had was disappointing though. Good and fast service.

Metropol Café is a warm and comfortable place with a friendly service. The food is good and they have interesting wine.

Welcome coolness on a boiling hot day, so ordered the iced teas to help. Huge glasses of it came out, and it tasted amazing. The food was great, my vegan option of tofu scramble was delicious, and the other meals for the rest of the family were tasty too. Prices not too bad for a city café, would recommend.
