"It's a small place and had a hard time finding in rain (it's in the middle of the block) so I called and the owner stuck his head out to wave so we can find it. It's a casual place with records and record covers hanging all over the place and it was fun to see some oldies from 80s. The service was great ordered a decaf and he started a fresh pot. Had a real hearty lunch the sandwich and the burger was right on the spot, as were the fries. I wanted to go little healthy and goe side salad instead of fries for I think a buck upcharge and it was worth it."

"Came for dinner to try to find a decent sushi restaurant that's close to home, and that didn't disappoint too much. The sushi rice could certainly be seasoned a little more and was slightly overcooked. The cuts of the fish were not very consistent, and the variety was low-mid range. Instead of disappointing with the sushi plate, as it doubled pieces of the same fish, offers little variety: 2 pieces of tuna, 3 salmon, 2 yellow tail and 2 white tuna, with a tuna reel. I had expected 9 different pieces of sushi, as typical for most restaurants. My son loved the chicken caraage, almost ate the whole plate itself, it was quite delicious and certainly worth returning for him to enjoy. Overall, not near the best sushi I had but not close to the worst, and how close it is at home, I will probably come back. I finally say my 4 star review is somewhat more generous than it should be likely, but if you are looking for a decent fix for sushi, it seems to be a safe bet."

"We ordered the white bean dip with tortilla chips (that they did not give you almost enough for the dip) the dip was very delicious! Also the cauliflower cake in the curry delicious! When we arrived, said a waitress, sitting wherever you wish, we choose a table in the corner to us room from other diners (other option was a small table right in the middle of the place surrounded with much purple and constantly past) as we in our corner table. Another, very curt, waitress came by to ask if it was only the two of us when we said yes she told us that we should not sit at this table and move to one for two When my husband reacted that he would rather have the room and be more comfortable at the corner table, huffed her and went away. Her annoyed nature remained not attentive to the course of our meal there, very few words for us, no eye contact during the interaction. I hate to give three stars because of their behavior, but there left a lasting impression of the atmosphere of the restaurant."
