"Stopped in for lunch on a Thursday afternoon with a group of 6. Dining room was pretty busy and we had a short wait for a table. I understand the difficulty with hiring and keeping reliable staff, so we were patient. The server took our order for drinks and then came back for our food order. The food almost beat our drink order to the table. Based on the quality and quantity of food, it more than made up for the slower drink orders. 2 people ordered grits and said they were the best they have ever had. A hidden jewel! A family own restaurant that pours love into their food and service! Our goal is to try everything on the menu. Can’t wait to go back!

Waited at the table for an hour to be served, even to be asked about drinks. The waitresses passed us many times but spent most of the time sitting at the bar. We only waited that long because there was a sign up front that said be patient because everything is cooked to order. When they finally realized there were obviously customers there with menus that haven 't been helped, they did not apologize but said no one told me you were here. It 's a small one room resteraunt which is very well lit. We got up and left.
