"I really wanted to like this place, but I let myself feel disappointed and underwhelmed. The atmosphere is great. You can smell the smoke when you go to the door. The restaurant overlooks Lake Tahoe and the docks. The selection of foods is decent, traditionally southern bbq. St. Louis ribs, pulled pig, smoked wings, etc. The service was slow, but they were understaffed when I was there. I ordered the pulled pork plate containing 2 sides and corn bread. The food arrived fast, but it probably would have spent a little more time in the kitchen. The wings were average, they were boiled, but they had used more time on the smoker. For my first time I went to love what I ordered pulled pork sandwich it was the best I loved there?t had something so good in a while absolutely loved it was delicious the service was excellent to definitely recommend

Smoked meat and baked catfish. The house made beer was delicious and cold. View of the lake partly blocked by the marina. The staff is friendly, but overworked. I'll come back when the opportunity is presented. Definitive stop.

If the vegetarian option (Tofu) was available, I had the 3 pages and Cornbread Combo. Portions were very small. The crowned greens were very salty and I found a dead fly in the potato salad. My partner said his chicken was good. When we came from Britain, we heard great things about American BBQ, but we left underwhelmed (and rather hungry).
