"we were in cancun as tourist but after elevated Mexican cuisine. thank you. opentable to show us in direction mostaza! it was equally unexpected, tasty and delightful. we were fascinated by the tasting menu and were blown away from the fresh of the ingredients and the pulsating taste pairing. we also had the wee couples who have proved to be generous and complementary to eating. service was care and profi. my first time knowingly to consume everything with grashüpfer in it, and a fruit that exists only in Central and South America. also the more conventional ingredients (steak was somewhere in the mix) were cooked. We got out of there best because we paid half of what we had in big cities....

Superb. I visit Cancun once or twice a year. There are several great steak houses Rosa Negra, Harry’s, etc. and several great European restaurants Peter’s, Les Cepages, etc. but I have only found one adventurous Mexican chef willing to put a modern twist on the ingredients of Mexico and bring its food into the Twenty First Century. The tasting menu is a must try.

as expected chef surprised and enthusiastic about his culinary skills and his ability to preserve and use sustainable ingredients, paying homage to various regions mexicos. here tradition meets modern style and aromen. each plate is a careful representation of the artistry, which is tempered with respect for each ingredient. I will come back and encourage you to do the same.
