"Passing back this way after a trip to Grand Haven for the Coast Guard Festival, we stopped at Nick's Hometown Grill for lunch. The restaurant is much larger than it first appears to be. The hostess and waitress were very friendly and helpful, restaurant was clean and the food was great. Including large portions. My friend got the regular chicken quesadilla and said it was very delicious. They also have a southwest chicken quesadilla so that's why I differentiate those two different quesadillas. I had the southwest chicken salad and it was really good. It had seasoned chicken, beans, corn, lettuce, tomatoes and cheese. The southwest ranch dressing is awesome! Food was good but the waitress never brought us the bill, so after 20 minutes I went up front to pay.

Food was amazing! The staff was very friendly. I would dare to say that it was the best steak I ever had. We'd eat here again when we came back to town.

We loved the food, service, and atmosphere of this place. We were driving home from Flint and Durand looked like a cute place to stop in for dinner. I'm so glad we did! What a cute little town! Nick's was the perfect restaurant for my family. Plenty of variety on the menu to please everyone. Lots of Tvs and wall decor to keep you entertained while you wait,not that we waited long. Our food was ready really fast! Great serving sizes and everything was delicious! Our waitress took great care of us and was sweet as pie! If see ever back in town we'll definitely be stopping back at Nick's!
