"This was my first time attending this restaurant I had high hopes due to it being in the area for so long. I will begin by saying that the food was very good. My friend and I shared the beets w/ buratta, warm olives, rigatoni alla vodka, and redfish piccata. However, the ambiance and service left much to be desired. The decor needs to be updated there was an odd smell when being escorted to our table. We then waited for 10 minutes before our server came to get our drink order and he was not very friendly. Also, he did not tell us the fish or soup of the day; we had to ask. For paying around $100/ person, I expect friendlier and more attentive service. I will not be in a rush to return. Ther...

Redfish dish was outstanding. Hot Italian bread and butter excellent. Caesar salad was not very good. Was more like a chopped lettuce salad. Romain was very lacking.

"The food and service were both excellent. Ther prices were very reasonable. The chimichurri chicken was excellent, the Chicken Cobb Salad was excellent as was the Steelhead Salmon over a bed of cold quinoa. The salt and pepper shrimp was very flavorful."

"I made a lunch reservation for my friend's birthday, and there were of us. I was on my lunch break, and unfortunately, even though we ordered quickly, it took a long time to get my food. I ended up being late for work, and shoveled my food in, plus the course dessert. I had to bring the rest of the entrée with me, since I was so rushed. My friend received her birthday dessert with a candle, after I Left, which was disappointing to me, since I had left already. And, my redfish entrée was actually not very good. I usually love but this was not the best experience Ive had"

"We love Hambone. It’s definitely nice people working there. The building is cute on the inside, but the outside seating is the bigger plus. There’s a good amount of vegetarian options for the area, and fun specials on the regular. I always get the chip and dip it’s like a lima bean ‘hummus’ but there’s something about it, plus the plantain chips ? also pictured: remy sandwich, mac and cheese, tomato sandwich, cinnamon roll, “chocolate bar” special (incredible), cocktail flight, and a satsuma salad special (whipped feta, char pickled cauliflower, buttermilk citronette… so good)"

"Thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Ambience has always been great, but under new owners/creative chef, Nuvolari’s has taken off. Menu is exciting, with specials and seasonal changes. Wine list is extensive and fairly priced. Same for wines by the glass. Service staff is knowledgeable, accommodating and efficient. Having the General Manager on the floor helps with the service. A"

"Service was great, thank you Bella! I have never ordered a pork chop at a restaurant, but Bella promised me I would not be disappointed. The pork chop was incredible! I have never had meat so delicious anywhere! I sure would like the recipe! The portion was huge and would fill up the hungriest diner. My husband had the beef kabobs which were also wonderful. After eating what was leftover of my pork chop the next day, he had to admit it was even better than the kabobs. We both had the green beans, which were a little crunchy and very fresh, just the way we like them. The restaurant itself was pretty and very popular at lunchtime. All told, it was the best part of our visit to NOLA! PS. We were too full for sweets after lunch."
