"My husband and I went to Oak Thursday, March 8th for his birthday. I selected this restaurant because of the reviews and some word of mouth. I had no idea how far it would exceed my expectations. I actually stopped by a few hours before my reservations with a car full of balloons and pulled through to the valet and told him I had a reservation later but wanted to drop off the balloons now. The valet got the manager and he poked a little fun at me and took the balloons and said don’t worry we got it. Our reservation was at 7:15 we got there around 6:50p. Excellent food and great bartender last night. I just wish they had lobster mac and cheese on their menu like their location in Charleston. Adding lobster to their mac cheese is very pricey.

Kevin was the most amazing server I’ve met in a long time he was very knowledgeable about the wines knew the menu inside out... the food was incredible. I will definitely be returning. It was a bit pricey but definitely worth it !! Fabulous local spot!

We came to Oak last night for the first time. We were celebrating my Mom's 60th birthday with several out of town guests. We had a group of 8 so we tried a lot of different menu items everything we had was delicious. Our server was the best and really went over the top to make our dining experience special! Thank you so much! We will be back!

"We were leaving Avalon and happened to walk by gusto! on our way to the car. We were intrigued by a sign advertising grilled baby bellas and the ambiance was so nice we decided to give it a try. We were so pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and how tastey everything was. They certainly don't sacrifice taste to make their food healthy. The baby bellas were so good we ordered another serving. We can't wait to come back here next time we're at the Avalon!"

"previous pandemic buffets at ray’s were nothing less than 5. their post pandemic buffet had a greatly reduced selection, but the food quality was good. when we were ready to dessert, the selection was very limited and was not very good. except when we first sat and once over averaged by our meals we saw our server and he made a bad work in comparison to server at other tables. hopefully, rays buffet will improve in the future. I'm sure they're not worth it!"

"This place is close to my house, and offered decent Mexican food when I wanted. Despite issues, the food was decent so I continued to go multiple times. Until the experience I had this week. They made a mistake with their online menu, so it was shocking to me when I got home and was a taco short. I called to discuss and had the phone handed to who I assume was the manager? As a manger in a customer facing role myself, this is not how you handle mistakes. I was told it was a typo, and they were working on fixing the fact that their menu advertised 4 tacos, I expected 4 but it should only be 3. She didn?t offer a solution other than ?sorry?. No extra taco like I expected for THEIR mistake, no credit, just literally nothing but to tell me how to order it next time. There won?t be a next time. That?s not how you do business. Taco Nest down the street is is for me."
