"Who knew you could get award-winning fish frit in a Mexican restaurant? The rice is a great substitute for fries. The claw is great, vegetables look fresh instead of frozen are beautifully seasoned, the salad with dressing and especially the homemade garlic bread from Telera rolls, Jum! All employees are also super friendly! Not to mention the $5 Margaritas... We're coming back! Look forward to trying the new menu items, including ribs, shrimps and prime rib."

"Decent place but we personally had better. First time visiting...so when we walked in we waited to be informed if we choose our seats or they seat us. Waitresses saw us but didn't acknowledge us. We chose our seats and it took awhile to be attendedto. Food was alright. I ordered mole verde steak enchiladas that came with rice, beans, and little salad (with diced tomatoesand a dollap of sour cream). There was something off with my steak. Other person ordered chicken burrito dinner, she enjoyed hermeal. *Prices: Burrito Dinner $11.24; Enchiladas (Mole Verde) $10.94 $1 for Steak (choice of steal, ribeye with grilledonions, or tongue)"

"So happy I found this place! Gf and I stayed for the first time last weekend for dinner, and I ordered the delivery for lunch today. Will definitely return soon. Excellent homemade dishes from good, grounded, friendly people who care about what they do. You can find some of these dishes elsewhere, but you do not get the same care or charm you get here. Stay here if you're ever in or around Wauconda. Very recommended."

"I decided to give them a another try since I have a bad experience the first time when I order a gyro meal. The meat was plentiful however it was old. This time I order a Italian beef with American cheese.. well when I got home I had mozzarella cheese on it the Italian meat had no flavor like it was cooked in plain water. I try to support the neighborhood restaurants but this is not working for me."
