"I love ruby dosdays. love the salatable. that was the worst thing I did. I burned my chicken sandwich. the waiter said it was happening all day. the type next to me ordered the same and his hen was twice as big and perfectly cooked. lady next to me said you steak was also burned. Never say a manager. I made my own salad so it was good."

"My husband loves Shoney's breakfast buffet, so of course we had to make at least one trip while we were in the area. The restaurant, the buffet and the toilets were all clean and well maintained. The food was good and there was a wide choice to choose from. The staff were friendly and the waitresses were excellent to keep their tables. We drove a little out of the way to this particular place to avoid the larger masses you meet on the main strip, and we were not disappointed. We will definitely return to this site in the future."

"Not great service, asked for a half gallon tea jug and got a large cup, person at the counter was clearly, and I'm not saying this in an insulting way, seemed very out of it, and probably shouldn't have been on the register. Everything on the ticket was wrong. But what I did get was very good, I recommend the food. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch"

"We often visit this restaurant and think it is one of the best in the area. We love the food and the service is always great. My wife and I traveled all over the country and this is one of the better restaurants we were in. We love the oysters Rockefeller and they have some of the best Prime Rib I've ever had. The price is not bad at all for the quality of the food you receive."

"Upon arrival, the restaurant was clean and decorated nicely, and they were prepared for us. I contacted DeeDee several times that day to update her on our estimated time of arrival, as we were running almost an hour late. When we finally arrived, the restaurant was starting to fill up with Friday night customers. The staff was generally pleasant, but they and some patrons appeared taken aback by the sight of 26 African Americans entering the establishment. It felt as though they were shocked—if looks could kill, I would say it was that kind of reaction. It was hard to tell if their surprise was due to the size of our group or our race, as it certainly felt uncomfortable. No one made any rude comments, but the stares were noticeable, and the staff seemed a bit startled. We had the option of choosing fried Tennessee catfish or smoked Tennessee meatloaf, both of which came with baked potatoes, green beans, and apple cobbler, all of which were delicious. We had agreed beforehand that we would need wine glasses for our BYOB wine, which was provided. We also asked for sweet tea and sodas, but those were never offered. When I brought this up to the staff and DeeDee, it felt as though I was making an unreasonable request, leading to a bit of a commotion as they scrambled to fulfill drink orders at each table. There was one waitress assigned to our group, while other staff members seemed to stand around, simply watching us, including a young man who couldn't answer my questions because he had only been working there for five days. Overall, it was an unfortunate experience."
