"We wanted to try a seafood spot while we're in LA and found this little gem. Noticed that yelp pictures doesn't have the most updated pricing, so here you go... We stopped by around dinner time. There were plenty of seating and street parking. The staff was very friendly and the service was quick. We ordered 3lbs of steamed clams, 1/2lbs steamed shrimp, and an Eastern lobster. Food was all delicious. The steamed clams: I personally like middle neck clams more, these were little neck clams, and we went through them in less than 3 minutes. They were still delicious though, just not enough. The steamed shrimp: we thought the shrimp was just a tiny teeny bit over cooked, as the shells were a little difficult to remove. That didn't stop us from practically inhaling the food! It was still very good! The lobster: what can I say? Lobster was amazing with drawn butter. It was so fresh! The meal came with 1 side dish, so we got coleslaws and a side of fries. The fries were very crispy and delicious, but NOT gluten free. We had a gluten sensitivity in the family, who tried eating this and felt it pretty immediate. Each thing came out with a bread roll, which we did not care for. Next time, we will ask for no bread, so we don't waste it."

"The place is located in a nice part of Malibu with great views. The food was Just mediocre, my Chilean sea bass was over cooked and the mashed potatoes it came with was like a cheap restaurant that had gravy on top. My moms duck was brought out in 5 minutes from the time of order, which tells me it was pre made and not freshly made. Do not get their creme brûlée, the worst I've ever had. The other thing that really irritated me was their 4% surcharge. When I asked the waiter what this was, he couldn't explain and called the manager. Manager was extremely nervous when he tried to give a proper explanation that made no sense. He said they can't hire people for $15 an hour to loan a dishwasher so they charge guests for it instead in order to help with minimum wage! What kind of BS is this?!? I'm pretty sure they got a ppp loan during the shut down. Considering how much they charge for food and drinks there is no reason why they should be paying their workers minimum wage and up charging their guests. Won't be coming back here ever again!"
