"It can be difficult to find all vegetarian/vegan restaurants in the East Bay compared to omnivore options, so I was thrilled to discover this gem thanks to Happy Cow! I tried the grilled cheese sandwich, made with fresh crusty bread, cheddar and goat cheese, and a tasty red pepper sauce that I couldn't get enough of. They also offer a variety of vegan options. The restaurant is currently set up for safe dining during COVID-19, with the option to order takeout or dine at one of their small outdoor tables. The staff was incredibly friendly and enthusiastic about their restaurant. I will definitely be back next time I'm in Oakland!"

This cafe is adorable and the food is delicious. I tried the sesame breakfast bagel with cream cheese, avocado, and pickled onion - simple yet so yummy! The coconut latte from the toaster was also delicious, as well as the croissant. I was pleasantly surprised by the spiced watermelon smoothie, I will definitely be craving it again. My dog enjoyed the dog treats as well. The atmosphere is super cute and the staff is very friendly.

Coffee and snacks were great, the service was warm and friendly. there are tables outside to sit and eat. Very safe during Covid from contactless ordering and service. the coffee options for Vegans was exceptional. Petit Cafe is a proud member of Oakland community with donation programs throughout the year. The owner was very proud of the window postings (se photos) and made us feel very welcomed and comfortable. my new favorite place for morning Coffee and snack.
