"Zu einem guten kühlen Köpi bekommt man hier Schnitzel die noch wirklich welche sind. Vorweg, quasi als Gruß aus der Küche einen Bohnensalat wie er früher war, einfach nur lecker, danach Bratkartoffeln, nach denen man sonst lange suchen muss und ein tolles, für Kinder zu großes, Schweineschnitzel in goldgelber Panade.Das Ambiente ist original 70iger Kneipe, dunkel und naja.....früher hieß es gemütlich. Aber da sehen wir wegen des tollen Hausmannsessens gerne hinweg. Es gibt auch andere Speisen, aber essen nur die legendären Schnitzel."

"BIsher sind nur Bewertungen für den Gastronomiebetrieb hier veröffentlicht. Ich fange hier daher mit einer Bewertung für den Übernachtungsbetrieb an.Da der Hotelbetrieb - soweit erkennbar - nicht über den üblichen Buchungsseiten erfasst wird, habe ich diesen über Google-Maps gefunden.Die Reservierung erfolgte dann auch am Vortag telefonisch, welche sich aber als sehr nett gestaltet hat. Eine kompetente Ansprechpartnerin, die für den nächsten Tag ein Einzelzimmer reserviert hat und mir dies kurze Zeit später auf meiner telefonisch durchgegebenen E-Mail-Adresse bestätigt hat. Was sehr gut war: Die Ansprechdame wies mich schon am Telefon darauf hin, daß das hauseigene Restaurant mir am Freitag Abend kein Essen wird servieren können, da dieses durch eine größere Weihnachtsfeier eine "geschlossene Gesellschaft" haben wird.Die Anreise gestaltet sich mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln (d.h. Bahn vom Bremer Hauptbahnhof in rund 20 Minuten plus zusätzlich vielleicht 12 Minuten Fußweg) als unproblematisch.Beim Betreten des Restaurants dann trotz der Weihnachtsfeier sofort als der angekündigte Übernachtungsgast namentlich angesprochen worden und trotz sehr großen Betriebes im Restaurant innerhalb von wenigen Minuten alle Formalitäten (inklusive Bezahlung als Vorauskasse mit Rechnung) erledigt. Das dauert in manchen Luxushotels oft genug deutlich länger.Das Einzelzimmer ist für eine einzelne Person von der Größe her ausreichend; das en Suite Bad erstaunlicherweise mindestens genauso groß wenn nicht sogar von der Quadratmeterzahl größer. Das kenne ich aus anderen günstigen Hotels anders.Und das Stichwort lautet günstig: Die Übernachtung von Freitag auf Sonntag wurde mit 55,00 Euro berechnet. Das ist sehr solide. Darin enthalten war ein akzeptables Frühstück mit den Grundzutaten, die man für den Morgen braucht. Da ich wohl der einzige Übernachtungsgast war, war alles zu der von mir am Abend zuvor erbetenen Uhrzeit am Platz bereitgestellt. Das habe ich anderen Hotels in der Preisklasse und mit der schwachen Übernachtungsauslastung schon anders kennengelernt (ein Teller mit Folie drüber, der am Vorabend schon hingestellt wird). Im Ritterhuder Landhaus habe ich aber eine Gastlichkeit erlebt, die sich spürbar von anderen Unterkünften unterscheidet. Aufgrund der sehr guten Erreichbarkeit mit der Nahverkehrsbahn zum Bremer Hauptbahnhof definitiv auch eine Empfehlung für Reisende, die nicht unbedingt im innerstädtischen Bremer Bereich übernachten müssen oder möchten. Für etwas empfindlichere Naturen: Bei dem Übernachtungspreis kann man nicht einen durchgehend neuen Renovierungsstand erwarten. Das Zimmer selber war tadellos sauber, dem Teppich im Treppenhaus zum Zimmer hingegen merkte man sein Alter bzw. seinen Gebrauch an. Da man mit Strassenschuhen darüber hinweg geht, sehe ich darin kein Problem, muß aber wegen der erkennbaren Renovierungslücken trotz des günstigen Preises ein Stern bei der Bewertung abziehen, um andere Hotels in der Preisklasse mit einem gut erhaltenen Treppenhausbereich nicht zu benachteiligen."
