"We had made it 120 km in five and a half stages from Trier to Traben-Trarbach. Filled with several beautiful views, some sweating slope, some bottles mostly very good moss wines and many new impressions. Around 2 pm we reached the end of this year's autumn hike, the bridge between Traben and Trarbach. Until the departure of our train back to the local Münsterland we had time to eat, back in Rheine it would have become too late for it. From the bridge we looked down the river and saw various gastronomy facilities. The kitchen of the first destination, the new Moselschlösschen had already closed and pointed to its own pavilion on the shore with onion cake. But in the last few days, we had eaten them enough, we felt like a good lunch. So continue the waterfront down to the Hotel Bellevue. There we saw the map of the hotel restaurant with the hint of a small overnight card . We were a little insecure whether the hotel restaurant would host us even after heavy 120 km and accordingly no longer perfectly socially capable appearance. Our question about a place on the terrace, inside we would not have eaten in view of the elevated ambience, but was positive and very courteously friendly (of course they can eat with us... answered. So we took a seat on the terrace of Mosel and enjoyed this Art Nouveau building in all its facets. One should take the time, even if only terrace guest is to look at the house inside and outside. I've never seen a more magnificent Art Nouveau building in my life! I would have liked to take some of the table lamps inside! Also my wife was gone and gone.... The excellently trained service included the table in gloves and handed us the small afternoon card. A bottle of water and two glasses of dry Riesling (Peter Kallfelz Hochgewächs were ordered quickly. The small card can be seen on the HP of the hotel, we ordered from it: Appetizer: Hearty Moselish marmitschesuppe (Kalbfleisch, Paprika, Onion, Kraut Saure Sahne € 7 Consommé vom Rind Herbal Fledle, Vegetables € 7 Both soups were well prepared, Madame was happy to finally taste a good appetizer again. My marital soup (I can only type this, not speak out reminded a little of my grandma's goulash in childhood days, very deculent, spicy, but after 120 km in the legs exactly the right, it was delicious. As main course: Dried beef tongue Rieslingsauce, parsley potatoes € 16 Fried slices of napkin dumpling on mushroom cream sauce € 14 Madame was able to taste her dumplings and had nothing to do with taste and preparation. After 6 days of Moselkit, I had a desire for something special and ordered the tongue, again a memory of childhood when tongue was served after the slaughter days. A wonderfully delicately cooked tongue in approx. 1 cm thick slices were served, the soup soup was excellent. This court was a worthy conclusion of our hike on the Moselle. Two espresso formed the conclusion. We are already thinking about continuing the hike from Traben-Trarbach and wondering if the Hotel Bellevue also lets hikers return for one night. This was chased and firm when we continue to hike the Moselsteig, Hotel Bellevue will be our starting point. Also on a hike upscale gastronomy is always a pleasure!"

"we were very disappointed and cannot understand the applications here. we sat at the top near an office workstation and surrounded by lofty (dead on the tablecloth and on the floor, living around us) and sprinkle on the wooden ceiling, beautiful atmosphere is different. the service was ok. to eat: we always have other supplements than in the card, in my eating was a hair and with my friend a piece of plastic/shell in the sauce (we couldn't exactly define) they can have a bad day, but we're sorry that the appetit is over."

"General We have been a group of 8 cyclists, after 40 km of bike were correspondingly hunrig and the great view of the Moselle has animated us for dinner there. Even if we have been a group on a short holiday on the Moselle and you think: we don't see them here anyway, so something unfortunately also speaks around in the long term and the beautiful view of the terrace unfortunately does not compensate everything. And Tagiatelle with Gorgonzola then belongs to Gorgonzola and also some cream to it and non-smoky, boiled noodles with flour pampering, but without Gorgonzola, that is also not better with dried parsley, unfortunately, and that was the same with the Tagiatelle with pifferlings and also with the barely edible pizza. At the end, then from the full price, where more than half on all plates was on him... Well, our group was super disappointed, hungry and I was also bad for the whole evening until the noodles were back out... a big day in the beautiful mosque and at the end everything was broken by a bad food. Operation The waiter who served us was really nice, has immediately passed our complaint and has brought his boss, so if possible his best given. Eat 8 main dishes (Penne Gorgonzola, Penne with pifferlings, lasagna, pizza and a salad as an appetizer. Unfortunately, all main dishes are not recommended. Noodles completely saltless and boiled, Gorgonzola misdisplay, for this a lot of flour pamps, the same among the bad pifferlings, which unfortunately also only came with flour pamps and crispy noodles. The pizzas were black at the edge and raw in the middle (cheese and tomato sauce also belong to a pizza standard, right? There is a star for the salad that was really good and also tasted! Inside I would not have reserved a table in the offer in Traben-Trarbach, because there are much more beautiful and cozy local cleanliness in the immediate vicinity The toilet was handed over by an ice cream counter and considering that food is used and eaten... Dear restaurant team there are sometimes cleaned! The toilets are in the basement, which is not bad, only you have in the basement."
