"If you visit Missen in Allgäu, do not come to the Schäffler brewery and the associated brewery in the hotel. Proud Throne the imposing, spacious building at the village square, in the heart of the municipality. The two lower floors are brightly painted, the gables of the high attic are markedly tinted in blood red. For this purpose, alcoves, colorful flower ornaments, colored window shutters clean. Parking is possible at an angle to a large parking lot, but not always enough – because the Schäffler is more than well visited. At this point it should be noted that the pre-booking is highly recommended if not mandatory. Especially if you want to find room as a group at the main meal times. In good weather it is possible to dodge on small beer garden or the spacious covered winter garden. Although the homepage speaks of a long tradition and an old family business, the local population makes clear that the tenant has often changed in the inn. Since 1996, however, the Graßl family apparently operated the traditional brewery in its own right. The Schäffler promises all-round happiness – shop distillery, brewery tours, tasting, beer tasting, culinary hospitality experiences of all kinds, holidays and overnight stays, various packages. The overall conglomerate seems to me almost a bit like an Allgäuer Disneyland – perfectly staged, skillfully sophisticated, optimized for profit. The interior architects were able to enjoy an alpine landscape in the inn, as the tourist and a long-awaited guest imagine the rustic country life – naturally combined with the most modern technologies and chic materials. This overall concept seems to be a unanimous recipe for success, as guests pour in amounts – especially the alcohol-related group experience seems to be good here. And every square meter of the area seems to be optimally exploited. We were in our Allgäu house twice at the end of May. Once in the afternoon coffee and cake, once for dinner, but then with pre-book. At both visits we were lucky to get a large, cozy, rectangular table with circulating wooden benches in a niche for us completely. All rooms with their different adjoining rooms, winter gardens, etc. are perfectly furnished in Alpine style. Here the interior design has achieved best performances. This is how the guest presents cosiness and homeliness. The service also wears costume, high quality and style. The appealing menu has something for every taste: Deftiges (Allgäuer Onion pork roast for 19.80 Euro homemade plate Sulz for 7.50 Euro), Proven (Pullet Pork Burger for 13.90 Selber brutzeln in Brutzel-Eck for 19.40 Euro), several soup and salad variations, many bread times and also some vegetarian dishes. The hit are of course the local beer specialties, from bright beer storage to unfiltered natural beer Zwickl to the alcohol-free holder white. Grandios is the triple scaffold, with unhearted fruity aromas, comparable to a trace beer. The pompous bottle, however, would suspect champagne rather than content. By the way, a great gift and gift. As a group, we had a good overview of the entire food portfolio. The vegan herbs in the Salatbouquet (9,90 Euro) of my side seeders were obviously not the hit – many fibrous things you read back. For this, the fresh crust was enjoyed in dark beer sauce with semmelknödel and salad for cheap 11,90 euros. The strong, dark sauce was created for punching with emptying. Also the super crispy porkshaxe (apparently only on preorder and only on certain days) was very praised. The Allgäuer Kasspatzen was made with a large cheese mixture of Emmentaler, mountain cheese, Limburger and white painter, but clear to dry. There is a praise for the creamy Allgäu cheese cream soup with raw materials from the cheese mill Diepolzer, refined with strong crumbles. 4.90 Euro for the large part presented in an oval porcelain navy was really cheap. I also find it good that cheese cubes or a cheese plate can be ordered on request. This can also be enjoyed as a group or can be a beer sample. However, I am very pleased with the following remarks: “You can share a court, we charge a service fee of € 1.60 (except children). As a resurrected group, we have eaten so much cross and crossed and left around so that you could not check it so accurately."

"I am in principle skeptical for exaggerating landgasthaus-Seligkeiten and above all to speak host house-names. who once told me to visit a place with the subtitle “Zum singen Host”. by the way, too wrong in that case. now you can jump over your own shadow. especially if a good call and enthusiastic reports are almost gone by friends. “For funny deer” practiced landlust and tradition with a certain augence-enriched but serious professionalism. it feeds quite wonderful and especially excellent. only a pity that the gas house is so much in the pampa at a place of the city in the allgäu that they already have to be motorized. but my guide has actually realized that 2x also runs a bus daily. Maybe not the worst option if they think that not only beer, but also wee and weeping chor are served in big sticks. and the delightful offer of high percentage is read on every table at the stand. table reservation is easy to obligatory. as I was told, some evenings will take the tables 2-3 times in succession. because this is local. every Thursday is the night of the cat. the gas can participate in the production and then the mixture can be filled up to nix more. or the doctor comes. the cheese originates from the near cheese factory polzer – in the rule a rezente mixture of mountain cheeses of different ripening and emmental is used. the spikes are not scraped or pressed as in the Swabian, but with a special device. looks simple, but exercise can't hurt here either. this legendary home dish I did not plan myself, but with great joy myself destroyed 9,50 euro for the huge part, including small salat. the cats are served in a beautifully decorated ceramic bowl, which has such an enormous capacity to be framed that you simply have to fail. the service offers of course to pack the rest immediately. but what odeur would spread the doggy bag in the sunwarm car, I don't want to introduce myself. I therefore abstain. Unfortunately, the leaf salad tastes smooth and blown in a tasteless, aqueous dressing without aroma. That it was also different, I look at the neighbor – there are colorful mixed salads that suggest varied and creative arrangements. today is a large bottle of allgäuer alpenwasser, still, from the close-up – with the subtitle “s'bludde” for a change drunk. in high German: without carbonic acid 3,80 euro. after that is really necessary a digestion. the service is so reminiscent of cordiality, joy of life, openness and naturalness. ask will be honest and spontaneously answered, details will be resolved quickly in the kitchen if needed. everything goes quickly from the hand: this is enough of the menu to record the order, to use it and to take it off later. I never have to wait an unnecessary minute. in this case, the impression of hectic does not occur. it's just like smashing. on the way to the ordinary, rural toilet I can catch a view into the kitchen. looks professional, clean, super organized. they can also stay in the house. but I will refer to the homepage. in the summer months, a sunny panoramic terrace overlooking the mountains offers a magnificent view. the „Alpe Höfle“ is also part of the operation in the polz above the above mentioned mountain cheese and the mountain farm museum, which I have already reported here at the end of May 2017. there are also dedicated work, but there are only vesper, broth, coffee and cake."
