This isn't the best Popeyes in Portland. They often get orders wrong, even when there's only one person in line. The chicken pieces are usually small, and you barely get a decent serving of fries.

The staff member working the drive-thru window during the closing shift on June 18, 2022, deserves recognition and a raise for their outstanding customer service. I arrived about 10 minutes before closing, and the person who took my order and payment was exceptionally friendly and enjoyable to talk to while we briefly waited for our food.

I decided to reorder through the app, as it was the only way to get everything I wanted. However, when the delivery person arrived to drop off my new order, they refused to give it to me. I understand that there are concerns in nicer restaurants, but this is Popeyes; it shouldn't be that complicated. If they had listened to the staff, they would’ve understood my situation. I just needed that missing fish sandwich. In the end, I received a refund, which is fine. But if they're overwhelmed with orders, they should also be more accommodating to ensure customers get what they paid for. It felt like they weren’t on my side at all.
