"Although a very pretty landscape, we were disappointed in this winery. Especially after being at Sandcastle. They only gave you 4 tastings and the wine wasn't all that good. Around same price as Sandcastle and I believe we got 12 tastings of a much better caliber of wine and a better selecton. Also, it was raining and humid and we were told we couldn't sit inside at the nice front room. So we got soaked running in and out. We ordered food. Pizza was good, but they wouldn't come take our orders or serve us. So we had to run back and forth in rain. They said they didn't have servers. But we were only people there and there was a woman that really wasn't doing anything. I made a comment about putting them on Yelp and then she wound up bringing pizzas. She claimed she was trying to be nice. So overall, I'd go to Sandcastle down the road. They are so nice, atmosphere fabulous. Wine very good. And they give us overviews of each wine and recipes/ foods that pair well with wines."

"Was very excited to try this place for our wedding anniversary. Thou we requested a romantic or special place within the restaurant for our occasion, restaurant didn 't really deliver on this request. Although they state they can 't guarantee special requests seating, seemed like there was plenty of places along windows or outdoor balconies where they could of sat us. However, while we did have a table for 2, seemed like we were put in a corner, quiet, but not one of the better seats in the house from my observation. Usually most places when you mention a special occasion, they usually recognize the event with at least, Happy Anniversary, thanks for choosing to dine with us, etc. Not here, not one mention of our occasion. Now granted, they seemed short on staff, as our waiter seemed over whelmed, and the manager actually took our order. Took of 5 minutes to be recognized after seating, 10 minutes for drinks, and almost an hour for an appetizer to arrive. Dinner soon followed, being that we out on a special date, it was kind of nice to not be rushed, but by regular dining standards, way too long for food or drinks to arrive. Our food items were very good, the fig toast appetizer was awesome, the crab cakes and Ciderhouse Short Ribs were good and plentiful. However, was disappointing to learn that original appetizer, dinner entree and dessert we wanted to try were all unavailable as they ran out. Not the best dining experience, not the worst, we may try again hopefully when they 're better staffed."

"Went there for Valentine’s Day it has been our third time back. first time there sat at bar very nice second time took my mother for her birthday service was horrendous not enough staff and waited forever for our food went again for Valentine’s Day our waitress was overwhelmed with too many tables or something I would see her go by but always running in the back to another room don’t know what that was about never came over to us . we never hardly saw her took 15 minutes to get a drink and then when I got the drink it wasn’t the one I ordered I said something to her about I ordered a margarita not a something martini never offered to correct the problem or bring me another drink took 39 minutes For our appetizers brought salad and entree within 6 min together. waitress never checked back other than when we were almost done too late to see how everything wise I don’t think I would go back there again based upon the three experiences that I’ve had in the past very disappointing beautiful place hope this helps The restaurant do a better job for guests in the future it’s a shame because the place is beautiful my parents used to go there back in the day and the people who now on it are fantastic but service will hurt you in the long run wish them the best of luck in the future thank you for listening"
