"Roots Cafe is a beloved Holladay staple and if you want to support a great local business, you should absolutely stop by. For me, personally, the food was very underwhelming. Best breakfast in SLC! The wait on the weekends is pretty bad but is always worth it for us. EVERYTHING on the menu is quality and so good, which is hard to find! Great service and vibe too, especially the patio.

Great food all around. From the spicy French dip to the steak and eggs, from the homemade strawberry jelly to the country potatoes...amazing flavors with mild twists throughout. 20 mins but not atypical for a Sunday lunch. Cody is an amazing employee who is always willing to lend a helping hand, definitely a local fav that we will be back to. Atmosphere a little loud inside due to the coffee grinder and 20 conversations at once
