"one of the best meals i have had on long beach island in a long while. this is not to be compared to all the wonderful fresh seafood,right off the beach casual, beachy places. this menu was diverse and full. from appies to the sides. the bar selection also wide and something for everyone. i am mostly a vegetarian, and this menu had plenty of options for me and my non-vegetarian eating friends and family!!!! we were seated immediately upon arrival we did have a ressie), the table was comfortable and not on top of the neighboring ones, we had a magnificent view of the sunset bonus), staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items, the food came quickly and was delicious. i only wish...

We love Salt Kitchen. Food is absolutely delicious, drinks are innovative and well executed. Staff could not be more attentive, they are very professional. Noise level was quite high, several extremely loud tables quite interfered with conversation, however this is the first time we've experienced this at Salt.

With Salt in the name it should have come as no surprise that sodium was applied with a heavy hand. My steak was very tasty and high-quality, but the amount of salt prevented me from being able to fully enjoy or finish it (which is disappointing for a $45 steak). It was also extremely noisy, although the restaurant was less than half-full, making table conversation challenging. Otherwise food was very good overall, and side portions very generous.
