"Shelly's Deli is still my way to Deli for the best lunch sandwiches in the city. Do not let all these other reviews fool you: The food is delicious and EVERYTHING is significantly fresher and more premium tasting than any other deli in the area. I would almost not even call them Deli; You are the best sandwich shop in town! (yes, they also serve your traditional Deli food! Oh and they also make catering!!! We had an event recently of them and all RAVED about how good the food was! Every time I went to the owners, the staff are friendly and friendly and ALWAYS go beyond and beyond. I was even a few weeks ago and a sandwich was made in the wrong way of bread and they made the entire sandwich...

Ordered catering for an anniversary celebration. Everyone really enjoyed the food. We had pulled pork, mac cheese, Spanish rice, sausage and peppers, mixed veggies, and a wonderful salad with roasted red peppers and grilled chicken. Without question I would definitely order catering from Shelly's in the future. Thanks for providing great food for our party!

I'd rather give four and a half stars, but Google doesn't let you do that on mobile. Food was delicious, they were really accommodating. We had a rather large order and they had our food ready to go in no time. Only reason I'm not giving a full five stars is the drinks selection and chips selection were not as varied as I would prefer. Otherwise I have zero complaints. If I'm ever back in the area, I'll be stopping here for lunch again

Unprofessional and rude. A community page online had a post from a woman who was unhappy to be called by the owner complaining about the tip amount she left. I left my comment about my previous experience with him so did many others. He than after reading decided to private message me on Facebook trying to bully me and somehow excuse his behavior. The man is rude and unprofessional it?s absolutely unacceptable. From other comments he?s been rude to other customers and employees as well. I have left well enough alone for years as this incident occurred while I worked there and left me with a medical bill that destroyed my credit but he felt entitled to try to blame me and justify his lack of...

"I was here once for a business meeting and all we did was drink. Great service tho. But I came back by myself after a long day and had a nice dinner. I ordered the Branzino A La Plancha... It was Mediterranean Sea Bass, roasted cauliflower, grape tomatoes.....Then before I left I had some room for the Apple Cobbler and Vanilla Ice Cream.... It was slamming....Definitely a good meal after being on the #GRIND!!!"

"A solid pizza place for speciality slices! Came here looking for a quick bite before heading home. Service was as sweet and polite as can be as we ordered a few regular slices and a white slice. While you wait, enjoy the scenes of Italy painted on the walls. The white slice came with a thin spreading of ricotta with plenty of herbs and garlic on top. It was delightful. The garlic actually had a sweetness to it which was not offensive. And the undercarriage is quite thin but still soft. The regular slice on the other hand, not my favorite. Still thin, still cheesy, but I wish the sauce had a bit more flavor to round it out. Overall, if you find yourself starving after a hike or a walk in the area, would gladly recommend this place!"

"We dined at this restaurant in December 2019. I am the only vegan in our group, so I was pleased to find vegan mozzarella on the menu. I carefully ordered and double-checked with the server to ensure that the crust and sauce were also vegan. To my surprise, the restaurant used Violife cheese rather than the typical Daiya, and it was delicious. The owner even stopped by to chat with me, mentioning that his wife is dairy-free and they have made an effort to find the best vegan mozzarella. He also mentioned that she has been experimenting with vegan desserts, some of which they now offer. As we finished our meal, the owner brought me a container of shredded cheese to take home, suggesting the best way to make a grilled cheese sandwich with it. The level of awareness and options for vegans at this pizzeria is excellent."

"If you’re getting take out this is probably a solid move but if you are planning on dining in with family or friends — PASS! I’ve been to this establishment four separate times and would rate Thai Spice a two star establishment (due to the service). I love Thai cuisine and overall the food is decent but the servers and atmosphere are always far below average. Unhappy servers who have mastered making you feel like a burden the moment you walk into the restaurant. Server watched videos on her phone (OUT LOUD) the entire hour I waited and ate dinner. Dateline television on as loud as can be (which as the only person in the restaurant I asked to turn to down they said no). Very unwelcoming environment. My last and final visit I ordered apps and paid walked out before even ordering entres. Again, food is solid atmosphere not so much."

"If you want to experience the best meal of your life, go to Essie 's, order one of their delicious cocktails (any will do), order grits croquettes (1 serving per 1-2 people), the earth-shatteringly delicious pork loin over a melange of grilled corn, broad beans, red peppers, and bacon, and end the evening with the stunning 'melon berries, ' which consists of amazingly light fruit sorbets, watermelon, ground cherries (the yellow midwestern fruit, not chopped up sweet cherries), mint, and candied grapefruit zest (plus superfluous but delicious sugar cookie bits). The chef has an extraordinary way with layered flavors and you will not be disappointed. But hurry! The menu changes seasonally. If you don 't like your food to touch/mix and you 're not a fan of trying new things, don 't go here. Everyone else? Call to make sure they have tables open (the place is small but not at all cramped) and get there in a hurry. Everything on the menu is excellent, but that pork loin dish was DIVINE. I can 't stop thinking about it."
