"Restaurants in Konya offer great opportunities to practice language skills. The city attracts many tourists and pilgrims, but it seems that most do not speak English, as the hotel and restaurant staff do not appear to speak it. I found a charming restaurant located on the corner of busy Mevlana street and market street that serves local dishes. No one spoke English, which added to the fun of the experience.
