"My wife, my brother and sister-in-law visited Barth near Stalag Luft One, where my father was POW for nine months during World War II. We decided to go to Zingst for dinner and looked for a good seafood restaurant and reviewed Trip Advisor, which we always do when from the city. We didn't book, but they put us on the bar that was fine. We had both delicious fish and beautiful German wine. Good service and atmosphere.

One of the best fish dishes we had during this trip to the sea side.big portions reasonably priced and with a large selection of both fish and meat dishes

This has never happened before in one of our many trips. When we entered the front door, a female employee shook his head at the door and only said the word, no, without explanation when we asked if we could sit four for dinner. That was enough for us, so we turned around and left. Even though we had no reservations, we noticed that there were many tables available inside and outside. The female employee was rude. She didn't leave us any options to turn around and eat elsewhere.
