"We stumbled upon this spot on our drive from Tahoe to SF and absolutely loved it. We got the chicken salad, salmon sandwich, and elk burger. Everything was cooked incredibly, the salmon was delicious with crispy outside and juicy inside and the burger was done perfectly as well. Loved the garlic curly fries as well overall a very reasonably priced lunch! In addition to amazing food, the staff and chef/owner were so warm and welcoming with some of the best service we’ve had anywhere. They were so attentive and friendly and even gave us cookies for dessert! Truly the best little spot we could’ve lucked into on our drive today, and we definitely look forward to returning the next time we’re out this way."

"We go out of our way to get Mr Pickles sandwich because of the special sauce. In fact we always ask for Xtra sauce. Today we placed our order, drove 20 minutes to get there. Even left a tip. I even mentioned we love the Xtra sauce. When we got home and started to eat, my daughter said there's no special sauce. None on mine either. Not the first time. So my daughter is eating her sandwich, she said I told them No Lettuce ?. Then she started gagging. There's half of a pincher bug ? in my sandwich ?. She showed me the ? and said we're never going there again. They obviously don't rinse their lettuce ?. That's fine. I can make my own special sauce."

"The service at this restaurant was friendly and attentive, with Ryan as our server. Everything from drinks to dessert was fantastic. One of my friends raved about the Mac and cheese, while another enjoyed the espresso martini. I decided on the Pork Tenderloin, while my husband and friend tried the Halibut special, which they said was excellent. Our other friend, who is very particular about his steaks, was pleased with his ribeye and topped it off with an affogato. We were too full to try dessert, but overall, our first experience at this restaurant was excellent and we will definitely be returning."

"my father i used to enjoy eating at mels diner.. i still enjoy the business.. however.. not at this location.. the entire restaurant was nearly empty.. yet we we serviced directly next to the restrooms.. which smelled freshly used.. we both could smell the stench of human mammal excretory.. the service team didnt ever offer a relocation.. we had to move ourselves to an ideal location.. didnt ever return for another meal.. it completely ruined my appetite shared experience with my father.. we dont endure restaurants together anymore.."

"This was really delicious. I went around 5pm and they weren't too busy. The service was great. There were some interesting menu items. I ordered Chicken Mango Curry (which included a generous portion of jasmine rice), Garlic Shrimp, and chicken Pad Thai. I was particularly impressed with the fresh garlic sauce on the shrimp. Really amazing flavor. I thought the prices were reasonable for Thai food and I'd definitely go back again!"
