"Very few reviews so I as skeptical. Why aren't people coming here if it is good? Well, we took a shot with some other couples.First, great lake views. You can see people strolling in the evening from the second floor windows. Lovely setting on the covered terrace.Second, the wine recommendation. Michael was great. I love it when the som doesn't recommend the most expensive wine on the the list and it turns out to be great. A Pinot from Zurich, Schillerberger, and loved it.Had a lamb salad. Sunday/ 2nd day of Christmas/ rainy day grey what a highlight to find in Zurich a lunch place with super friendly professional service, while being relaxed and enjoying good food. Will return to test the dinner menu!

The Steingenberger hotels are well known in Germany, stylish, boutique-y with excellent service. In Zurich, the new restaurant VIVUS offers both light or traditional fare, contemporary decor and great warm service. Prices are medium-high typical for Zurich. Worth discovering, nice view too.
